The Creative Process Behind Sculptures of Light

The journey from concept to realization for Sculptures of Light involves meticulous planning, innovative design, and advanced technological integration. Amorós begins by delving into cultural stories or personal inspirations, translating them into visual motifs and spatial structures.

Next, she collaborates with engineers and technologists to develop responsive lighting systems that can be programmed or interact in real-time. This phase demands a fusion of artistic vision with engineering precision, ensuring that the final installation reflects both aesthetic excellence and technical reliability.

Once assembled, the works undergo rigorous testing to optimize light behavior, viewer interaction, and environmental adaptation—especially important for outdoor sculptures exposed to varying weather conditions and ambient lighting.
